One of the more ambitious projects that Ahmed Group undertook was establishing a refinery for distilling crude oil to produce octane, diesel and petrol. The end goal was to build a liquid petroleum gas (LPG) plant that is more than up to the international standards. The entire project is being built upon 75 acres of land at the river side of port of Mongla in Bagherhat district. The project has taken massive steps in recent times and is currently in the process of being fitted with the latest technologies and machineries available to ensure safe and reliable practices are maintained throughout each and every stage of the refining process.
